Compact 4K Recording for Night Vision Devices

The GREC 2 Nightvision Recorder is a compact and lightweight clip-on camera designed specifically for night vision devices and monoculars featuring a PVS-14 eyepiece.

With 4K video recording at up to 60 fps, a rugged yet lightweight construction, and support for microSD cards up to 512 GB, the GREC 2 Recorder provides high-quality recording without adding unnecessary bulk to your night vision setup.

The recorder captures the image directly from the night vision eyepiece, making it an ideal solution for training, documentation, observation, outdoor activities, and operational use.

4K Recording at 60 FPS

The GREC 2 Recorder records video in 4K at 60 frames per second using the H.264 codec and MP4 format.

The high frame rate provides smooth footage, while H.264 compression keeps file sizes manageable for extended recording sessions.

Recordings are stored on a microSD card with support for capacities up to 512 GB. Files are automatically numbered sequentially using the Grec#### naming system. The file management is designed to be overwrite-safe, preventing accidental overwriting of existing recordings.

Live Video Output

In addition to onboard recording, the GREC 2 Recorder provides a live video output via USB-C at 1080p/30 fps.

A dedicated streaming cable is available separately for applications requiring a live video feed.

Note: The dedicated streaming cable is not included and will be sold separately.

Built for Night Vision

The recorder combines a lightweight Nylon 12 housing with CNC-machined aluminum components for a durable and rigid construction.

An integrated aluminum heat sink and aluminum sensor arm help manage heat during operation and provide improved thermal performance during extended recording sessions.

The mounting system uses a captive ring, meaning the mounting clamp remains permanently attached to the recorder and cannot accidentally come off or get lost.

Simple One-Button Operation

The GREC 2 Recorder is designed for straightforward operation with a single control button.

An integrated microphone is included for audio recording, allowing video footage to be captured together with ambient audio.

The USB-C port is used for charging and power.

A USB-C charging/power cable is included with the recorder.

ATAK & Android Connectivity

The GREC 2 Recorder is designed to integrate with Android-based workflows and tactical mapping applications.

The dedicated Grec2toAtak Connector app enables connectivity with ATAK and provides a convenient way to integrate the recorder into compatible Android setups.

The Android app will be available at launch.
